The Welcoming Glass, May 2022

This is the welcoming glass. The experience starts us in front of two pedestals: one physical and the other within the AR space. As you walk towards them, it will unravel the octagonal space where a table, inspired by the union house, is revealed. The user is then slowly met with 7 different objects that represents the UAE’s unity and pride. As they interact with these elements, there is an audio feedback that makes the object feel alive. Around the octagonal space, the user can venture through time of what the Majlis gatherings used to look like and imagine its future for themselves.
